Is The RISE scary?

The RISE is more of an art show, not a haunted event. The RISE is a bunch of really cool hand-carved illuminated jack o'lanterns with some really great music behind them! We do have some music that we consider "eerie" but not "scary". It is Halloween, you know! We think it's appropriate for children of all ages but only you can know if it's suitable for your child.

What happens if I'm running late?

If you're a little late for your time you will still be admitted in with your valid ticket. There are no refunds or exchanges if you miss your date altogether.

How do you keep all of the pumpkins from rotting all month long?

We don't! Each week we have to replace the deceased jack o'lanterns with fresh ones. That's a lot of re-carving!

Absolutely!  Each year, most dates and times sell out quickly.

Are all of your Jack O'Lanterns real pumpkins?

The RISE is the only event in the country which carves 5,000 fresh REAL pumpkins EACH WEEKEND! It takes about 75 people over a two-day period each week to carve and place all 5,000 and then remove them all on Monday morning! We also have a few hundred hand carved artificial pumpkins in our display, because some of our carvers prefer them, but those are in addition to the 5,000 jack o'lanterns carved from fresh real pumpkins each week!

Can I bring outside food?

The RISE will have delicious snacks and beverages available for purchase in the pre-show area. Outside food is not permitted.

Can I purchase one of the jack o’lanterns I saw at The RISE?

We do not sell any of the jack o’lanterns on our trail so that we can deliver the same experience to all of our guests throughout the month.
